Forestry works to remove fallen trees from streets, City properties

Crews from the City of Cheyenne’s Urban Forestry Division were called out to over 50 locations on Thursday to remove fallen trees that were blocking streets throughout Cheyenne. Urban Forestry will continue to clear debris and make streets passable through the weekend.

Motorists should stay clear of crews working in the right-of-way and abide by any street closures.

City golf courses temporarily closed due to wind damage

The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses. The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

As of Friday, March 13, 2026, the Prairie View Golf Course is expected to reopen late Tuesday morning, March 17. The Airport Golf Club is expected to reopen late next week.
