City offices including Transit will be closed on Friday, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday. There will be no changes to residential, trash, recycle or yard waste pickups this week. There will also be no changes to commercial pickups on Friday, June 19, but pickups scheduled for Saturday, June 20, will be collected on Friday. See link below for City office closure information.
In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.
The Purchasing Office is responsible for the implementation and administration of the City’s purchasing policies and procedures. These procedures include the release of formal bids for a variety of goods and services, as well as obtaining quotes for items not required to go through the formal bidding process.
Additionally, the Purchasing Office ensures all purchases of goods and services are made in accordance with State and Federal laws, in addition to City Ordinances.
