Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of May 25th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The City of Cheyenne Community Recreation and Events Department will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate improvements to Dunbar Field on Thursday, May 28, at 2:30 p.m.
The upgrades include new restroom and concession facilities, a new backstop and fencing, new and improved lighting, new bleachers, and more. The beach at Sloan’s Lake has also been expanded with fresh new sand for the community to enjoy.
Dunbar Field is located in Lions Park at 408 S. Lions Park Drive.
