The City of Cheyenne’s Planning and Development Department is asking residents to provide input on future multifamily developments through an online survey, with emphasis on how those developments could look and feel.

Multifamily developments, which include projects like large complexes or small 3-unit structures, are an important part of Cheyenne’s housing supply. Feedback from residents will help the Planning and Development Department craft regulations that will give more predictability to both current city residents and builders of new apartments.

The online survey asks residents about reasons to have multifamily developments in Cheyenne, concerns about those developments, and standards residents would like to see for new projects.

The survey is available online at http://connect.cheyennecity.org. The survey will continue to be available until Dec. 1.

Input received from the survey will be added to other outreach the Planning and Development Department has done in recent years and may be incorporated into potential changes to the City’s Unified Development Code next year.
