City to host open house on Stormwater Management Program

The City of Cheyenne invites residents and property owners to attend an informational meeting on the City’s Stormwater Management Program on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Laramie County Library Cottonwood Room, 2200 Pioneer Ave.

This open-house style meeting will provide an opportunity to learn about the City's Stormwater Program, upcoming improvements, and the stormwater user fee. A brief presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m. followed by breakout stations where City staff will be available to answer questions and provide information on topics such as:

• Why stormwater management matters
• The purpose of the proposed stormwater fee
• What the fee will fund
• Billing and payment information

Community questions and input are encouraged and all are welcome to attend. The stormwater fee will take effect in 2026.
