The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

The City of Cheyenne’s Community Recreation and Events Department was recently awarded an $85,000 Laramie County School District 1 Recreation Mill grant to purchase three new scoreboards and sound systems for the Cheyenne Junior League Complex.
Every year, CJL registers almost 600 boys and girls to participate on one of the 40 youth teams across four divisional age groups. CJL also hosts Laramie County School District 1’s High School Girls Softball program providing practice and competition facilities for another 135 athletes. The addition of digital scoreboards and distributed speaker audio systems will greatly enhance the overall player and participant experience.
In addition to the grant funded CJL upgrades, the LCSD1 RecMill committee also approved a $5,000 grant for scholarships that will be made available to elementary age students to participate in city youth sport programs.
