City offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. There will be no changes to residential, trash, recycle or yard waste pickups this week. There will also be no changes to commercial pickups on Friday, July 3, but commercial pickups scheduled for Saturday, July 4, will be collected on Friday.See link below for City office closure information including Transit and Recreation Facilities.
In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.
Effective March 6, 2023, the City will be utilizing an online portal for applying for business licenses and permits. The portal can be accessed at the following link - https://cheyennewy.viewpointcloud.com.
Please note that credit card payments include a 2.99% + $0.99 processing fee, and e-check payments include a $2.25 flat fee. Cash and check payments do not have an additional fee, but must be made in person.
