Scott Roybal is a Ward I City of Cheyenne Councilman. Scott was first elected to serve as a Ward I Councilman in 1996 and served a four-year term from January 1997 thru 2000. Scott chose to run again for office in 2014 and was successfully elected to serve a four-year term for City Council Ward I, from January 2015 thru 2018 and has since been reelected to consecutive terms from January 2019 thru 2022 and January 2023 thru 2026. Scott served as City Council President in 2022.
As a Councilman, Scott currently serves as the Chairman of the Public Services Committee and is the Council representative to the Downtown Development Authority. Scott also serves on Fire & Police Civil Service Commission, Human Services Advisory Commission, and the City’s Personnel Commission.
Scott has more than 35 years of professional experience which taught him the importance of working with and for the public.
