Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of May 25th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). Ward I Councilman
Pete Laybourn is a Ward I City of Cheyenne Councilman who was first elected to serve in 2005 for a four-year term. Pete chose to run again for office in 2016 and was elected to serve from January 2017 through 2020. Mr. Laybourn ran for a third term from January 2021 through 2024 and a fourth term from January 2025 through 2028.
Pete serves as the 2026 City Council Vice President and is a member of the Public Services Committee. Pete also serves as the City Council representative for the Greenway Advisory Committee and the Mayor's Council for People with Disabilities.
