Jeff White

Ward I Councilman


Jeff White was appointed to City Council in 2015 and elected to a full-term in 2016.  Currently, Jeff serves as City Council Vice President, is a member of the Finance Committee and represents the City Council on the Downtown Development Authority Board and the Economic Development Joint Powers Board.  He has lived in Cheyenne since 1981 and graduated from Central High School in 1987.  Jeff studied Business and Public Administration at the University of Wyoming—completing his MPA in 1996.  He is currently a Deputy Administrator for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services where he founded the Dads Making a Difference program in 2007. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and has volunteered with the Cheyenne Frontier Days Public Relations Committee for over 20 years and is a member of the CFD Heels.  He has also volunteered with the Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club, United Way of Laramie County, Laramie County Library, and the Friday Food Bag Foundation.   Jeff’s hobbies include running, skiing, reading, cooking and attending UW football/basketball games.  He and his wife Christy enjoy doing everything they can to promote positive community and economic growth in Cheyenne.
