City offices including Transit will be closed on February 16th. Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of February 16th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The Building Department has launched their online license & permit portal.Company Contractors can find their claim code below to activate their online account, scroll down to Licenses and Permits then click on Building Safety Division – Contractor Licensing then follow the directions listed.An online account will be required to apply for permits with the Building Department.
This program was established in 1989 to provide for the continued beautification and heritage appreciation of City-owned cemeteries. This program is dependent upon support and assistance through donations and volunteers. Donations are applied to specific sites located within general use areas of the cemetery. Currently several flower planters are located in Lakeview and Beth El Cemeteries sponsored by local individuals and businesses.
