Spring into Green 5K/10K set for June 12

CHEYENNE – The 12th Annual Spring into Green Run/Walk, is set for Saturday, June 12th at 8:00 a.m. Participants have the option of a 5K or 10K course with a start/end location at the Smalley Park shelter (Melton and Seminoe). The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation puts on the race every year to fulfill its mission and raise funds for amenities on the Greenway that are not typically funded by the City.

Tech t-shirts will be awarded to the first 150 adult registrants with breakfast included for all at the end of the race. For more information, visit www.cheyennegreenwayfoundation.org.

The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation exists to contribute to the quality of life for all Cheyenne area citizens by:

  • Raising awareness and encouraging use of the Greater Cheyenne Greenway and trails systems for fitness, exercise, relaxation, and community events
  • Encouraging the expansion of trails and multiuse paths in the Cheyenne area
  • Increasing public support of the Greater Cheyenne Trails system and securing private funding to complete special projects on the Greenway

9:30 a.m.        Awards given:

                       Adult 18+       1st – 2nd place for 5k &10k male and female         

                       Seniors 60+    1st – 2nd place for 5k &10k male and female   
                       Youth 6-17     1st – 2nd place for 5k &10k male and female
