The City of Cheyenne Municipal Building (2101 O’Neil Ave.) will remain closed for the week of 9/29-10/3. The Building & Planning Departments are available in-person at The BEAST Foundation (2900 Sunflower Rd.). City Clerk & Human Resources are available in-person at the Botanic Gardens (710 S. Lions Park Dr.).
The Building Department has launched their online license & permit portal. Company Contractors can find their claim code below to activate their online account, scroll down to Licenses and Permits then click on Building Safety Division – Contractor Licensing then follow the directions listed. An online account will be required to apply for permits with the Building Department.

CHEYENNE – Councilmen Scott Roybal and Richard Johnson have been nominated as President and Vice President, respectively, for Cheyenne City Council in 2022. The selections were made during Tuesday night’s Annual Straw Poll Dinner held at The Metropolitan. Roybal is a Ward 1 councilmember with Johnson representing Ward 3.
Formal nominations and voting will take place at the January 10th, 2022 City Council Meeting at the Civic Center (510 W. 20th St.).
In 2021, Ward 1 Councilman Jeff White served as President while Ken Esquibel of Ward 3 served as Vice President.
