Ongoing road and utility work will close sections of Van Buren Avenue over the next several weeks, and drivers in the area are asked to consider alternate routes while construction takes place.
Beginning today, July 15, Van Buren will close from U.S. 30 to Eastview Street. After crews have finished working in that section, construction will continue in blocks along Van Buren until reaching Dell Range Boulevard.
This work will allow new storm sewer infrastructure to be installed, substantially improving stormwater drainage capacity in the area.
