City offices including Transit will be closed on February 16th. Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of February 16th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). A section of Holmes Street will be closed to through traffic into next week due to milling and paving operations on that street.
Work will take place on Holmes from Ridge Road to McCann Avenue. Access for residents will be directed by traffic control and construction flagging.
Construction is expected to take one week, weather permitting. Drivers should use caution in the work zone.
