The City of Cheyenne will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Parsley Boulevard Greenway Connector on Tuesday, July 7, at 3 p.m.

The new Greenway segment connects neighborhoods to the north of Interstate 80 to the WAPA Greenway corridor via the Parsley/I-80 bridge, which was reconstructed by WYDOT and opened in June 2023. This important connection allows for improved biking and walking routes to Goins Elementary, Johnson Junior High School, South High School and the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Wyoming.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on the north side of the Parsley Boulevard bridge. Parking is available along Arp Avenue and West Fox Farm Road.

The Parsley Boulevard Connector was designed and constructed with voter approved 2021 6th Penny funding.
