The Cheyenne Ice & Event Center will hold its 10th annual Chicken Curling Tournament next month, and registration is now open for the event.
The 2025 tournament is slated for Saturday, March 15, at noon.
Chicken curling is exactly what it sounds like – the sport of curling, but with donated, expired frozen chickens instead of stones.
Teams of four compete to win the contest in a double elimination format, and spectators are encouraged to attend. Door prizes, food trucks, raffles, and beverages will be available.
Registration is open until Tuesday, March 11. Teams must have four members, all over 18 years old, and are encouraged to come up with a witty name and may wear costumes to the event.
Teams should contact Bailey Miller at bmiller@cheyennecity.org or visit the Ice & Events Center to register and for more information.
