The City of Cheyenne’s Recreation Division is excited to offer a beginner-friendly mountain biking course designed for youth ages 10-14, and registration for the course closes later this week.
This program provides a fun and safe environment for participants to build confidence, develop essential biking skills, and learn trail etiquette while riding through the scenic North Park trails. The course will be held every Wednesday in May (May 7, 14, 21, and 28) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Riders will receive hands-on instruction covering bike handling techniques, safety practices, and much more. The cost is $65 per participant, with a maximum of 12 spots available.
Participants must bring their own mountain bike, which must have working brakes, tires that hold air, and functioning shifters. Helmets are required for all riders.
