Public hearing scheduled for CDBG applications

The City of Cheyenne’s Housing and Community Development (H&CD) Division will host a public hearing next week to discuss grant applications for the Community Development Block Grant program for Program Year 2026.

The hearing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Human Resources Conference Room on the first floor of the Municipal Building, 2101 O’Neil Ave.

Residents are invited to comment on grant applications submitted for CDBG funding and learn about the CDBG program. The City has not yet received its HUD allocation for Program Year 2026 but anticipates approximately $270,000 in available funds.

Applications for the program year include:

  • Accessible Space Inc.: Heritage Court Apartments Renovation ($50,000)
  • Family Promise of Cheyenne: 5th Street HVAC and Window Replacement ($115,200)
  • HealthWorks: Roof & Elevator Replacement ($270,000)
  • My Front Door: Williams Center Interior and Exterior Renovation ($77,280)
