In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.

The Paul Smith Children's Village at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens will be closed beginning Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, to replace entryway pavers with cut sandstone, replace the concrete waterfall bridge, and remove several trees.
The Paul Smith Children's Village will reopen Friday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. Normal hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
