The City of Cheyenne will host a public open house later this month to review the 18th Street Reconstruction Project and discuss preliminary design considerations.
The open house will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room at the Laramie County Public Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave. The event will consist of a short presentation at 5:30 p.m. and informational display boards, along with opportunities to visit with the project team and ask questions.
The 18th Street Reconstruction Project is currently in the preliminary design phase and involves 18th Street from Warren Avenue to Bent Avenue and along Bent Avenue from 18th to 15th Street. Design elements being considered include ADA upgrades, streetscape design, underground utilities, and roadway modifications. At this time, there are no dates for construction.
For those who cannot attend the open house, the meeting presentation and open house displays will be available on the project website at http://connect.cheyennecity.org/18thStreet.
Written comments will be accepted at the public meeting open house and afterward through the project website until Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
