The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

The City of Cheyenne will host an open house for a potential pedestrian and bicycle bridge over Interstate 25, and community members are invited to learn more and provide feedback about the project.
The open house will be Thursday, April 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the WYDOT Auditorium located in the main building of WYDOT Headquarters, 5300 Bishop Boulevard. A short presentation will be given at 6 p.m.
Two alternatives for the bridge are under consideration. The first and preferred alternative is for a fully enclosed bridge that would begin from Frontier Park near the current shuttle drop-off area along Hynds Boulevard. The second alternative is an expansion of the existing Stinner Road bridge.

The project is currently under environmental review and is in the planning stages. Funding is projected to come from both public and private sources, including a matching fund established by the Wyoming Legislature to improve pedestrian safety at rodeo events.
The City is the lead on the overall project with support from Cheyenne Frontier Days and WYDOT. Trihydro Corporation is the consultant for the environmental review.
