City offices including Transit will be closed on Friday, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday. There will be no changes to residential, trash, recycle or yard waste pickups this week. There will also be no changes to commercial pickups on Friday, June 19, but pickups scheduled for Saturday, June 20, will be collected on Friday. See link below for City office closure information.
In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.

The Cheyenne Ice & Events Center will hold its annual Ice Show Celebration on Saturday, March 16, at 1 p.m.
The Ice Show Celebration is an opportunity for the Center’s Learn to Skate program participants to showcase what they have learned through this season. The 2024 theme is “NOW that’s what we call skating!”
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
