City offices including Transit will be closed on February 16th. Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of February 16th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). Utility work will close a section of the Greater Cheyenne Greenway beginning Monday, April 28, and continuing through May 9, 2025.
The closed section of Greenway will be from the Ames Avenue underpass to near Optimist Park.
Contractors with the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities will be working on the sewer line in the area and the Greenway will reopen once work is complete.
