The City of Cheyenne Municipal Building (2101 O’Neil Ave.) will remain closed for the week of 9/29-10/3. The Building & Planning Departments are available in-person at The BEAST Foundation (2900 Sunflower Rd.). City Clerk & Human Resources are available in-person at the Botanic Gardens (710 S. Lions Park Dr.).
The Building Department has launched their online license & permit portal. Company Contractors can find their claim code below to activate their online account, scroll down to Licenses and Permits then click on Building Safety Division – Contractor Licensing then follow the directions listed. An online account will be required to apply for permits with the Building Department.

CHEYENNE – Cheyenne Fire Rescue (CFR) responded to a structure fire at the Stage Coach Motel in the early hours of Thursday morning. Crews were dispatched at 2:24 a.m. and arrived on scene at 2:30 a.m. The structure fire was under control by 2:53 a.m. and crews cleared the scene at 4:30 a.m.
CFR arrived to find heavy smoke coming from one room. Crews were able to contain and isolate the fire to that room and extinguish it. All occupants were evacuated and relocated until fire operations were complete. One occupant was injured and transported by American Medical Response (AMR) members to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC).
AMR and the Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) assisted CFR on scene. Estimated damage is unknown at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
