Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of May 25th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The City of Cheyenne’s Building Safety Division will hold an open house on Thursday, May 28, for residents and contractors to learn about the 2026 National Electrical Code.

The Cheyenne City Council will hold a work session to receive information and updates about the Safe Streets for All Comprehensive Safety Action Plan on Friday, May 29, at noon. No votes will be taken during this work session.

The session is available to attend in-person in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building (2101 O’Neil Ave.) and will also be available to watch remotely. A Zoom link and information about watching remotely will be available at www.cheyennecity.org/zoom.
