In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.

CHEYENNE – Beginning Monday, August 1st, Converse Avenue will be closed to through traffic from North Odgen Road to Townsend Place Apartments. This closure will be in place for one week to complete utility work associated with the new subdivision.
Ridge and Powderhouse Roads will serve as detour routes, during this time.
