City offices including Transit will be closed on February 16th. Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of February 16th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). Road work to improve Burlington Trail between Campstool Road and South Industrial Road in southeast Cheyenne will result in temporary traffic patterns while work takes place.
During construction, Burlington Trail will be open to southbound traffic only during daylight hours and will be fully closed at night. Northbound traffic should use Industrial Road to College Drive or HR Ranch Road to Campstool Road.
Drivers are advised to use caution in the work zone and obey posted signs.
This road work will result in new asphalt surfacing, drainage improvements, and a Greenway extension from Campstool Road to the existing Greenway near the JL Ranch subdivision.
Work is expected to be complete in August, weather permitting.
