Following the high wind event on March 12, the Cheyenne Sanitation Division is offering services for residents, particularly those with Thursday pickups.
The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

Wyoming Pathways will host a Pedestrian & Cyclist Safety Workshop at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center (Community Room) on Friday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with support from the Wyoming Department of Transportation. This open house-style event is free and open to the public, and snacks will be provided.
The workshop brings together local experts and community partners to share insights, offer safety resources, and gather public feedback to help shape safer walking and biking conditions throughout Cheyenne.

The workshop will offer attendees a chance to hear directly from local leaders and professionals who are working to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. Community members will also have the opportunity to ask questions, share personal experiences, and help inform the priorities.
