Local businesses and organizations are invited to serve as breakfast station hosts for the 2024 edition of Bike to Work Day, which is set for Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Breakfast station hosts will be listed on the City’s Bike to Work Day website and are asked to provide free breakfast foods to Bike to Work Day participants on the day of the event. Stations should be staffed and in a publicly-accessible location.
To register your business or organization as a station host, or for more information, contact City PIO Matt Murphy at mmurphy@cheyennecity.org. Station hosts should include their business/organization name, station location, and planned hours of operation.
Bike to Work Day is an annual event that celebrates active ways of getting to work and around town. Participants don’t need to be traveling to work specifically to take part.
New this year, the City’s Community Recreation and Events Department will host an after-work party on Bike to Work Day at Civic Commons Park (2000 O’Neil Ave.) on June 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Cheyenne Slow Roll group will also begin its weekly group ride from the after-work event at 6 p.m.
