City offices including Transit will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observation of Veterans Day. Residential trash, recycling, and yard waste pickups will slide forward one day beginning on Tuesday (Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The City of Cheyenne Municipal Building (2101 O’Neil Ave.) is currently closed. The Building Division, MPO, and Planning & Development are available in-person at the U.S. Bank Building (2020 Carey Ave.). City Clerk & Human Resources are available in-person at the Botanic Gardens (710 S. Lions Park Dr.).All departments are available by phone and e-mail using their regular contact information.
The Building Department has launched their online license & permit portal. Company Contractors can find their claim code below to activate their online account, scroll down to Licenses and Permits then click on Building Safety Division – Contractor Licensing then follow the directions listed. An online account will be required to apply for permits with the Building Department.

CHEYENNE – The City of Cheyenne has announced its guidelines for wildlife animal carcass disposal.
The Solid Waste Transfer Station (220 North College Drive) accepts bagged animal carcasses. Five maximum carcasses daily per customer. The charge is $6.68 per carcass. Please take larger quantities or carcasses directly to Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.).
Happy Jack Landfill will accept all animal carcasses, no limit. Disposal at the Landfill is based on weight. Minimum disposal fee at the Landfill is $36.39 (1/2-ton minimum).
