Cheyenne City Council members selected their goals for 2026 following a work session last week.
For 2026, Council’s goals include:
6th Penny Education and Public Outreach: Council members will develop a plan to educate voters about upcoming 6th Penny ballot initiatives.
Improve the City’s public information strategy: Council will work with City staff to identify ways to improve public engagement and outreach and develop a plan to execute that strategy.
Complete previous projects and goals: Council will focus on completing projects and goals that have outstanding action items and explore options for a project tracking system.

Each year, council members select goals they agree to work toward as a group. Members may still have their own individual goals and priorities.
