The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

Cheyenne City Council members nominated Council’s new president and vice president during the annual Straw Poll Dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
Councilman Ken Esquibel, representing Ward 3, was nominated as president and Councilman Dr. Mark Rinne, representing Ward 2, was nominated as vice president. The nominations will be formally voted on at the City Council meeting on Jan. 8 and will be effective for one year.
In 2023, Councilman Richard Johnson, representing Ward 3, was president and Esquibel was vice president.
