Bike Week is back in Cheyenne, with a number of events during the week of June 23-27, including Bike to Work Day on Wednesday, June 25.
Two group rides, a kids’ bike rodeo, and breakfast stations with an after-work event on Bike to Work Day are all highlights of the week.
Monday, June 23 – Proclamation and Evening Group Ride
The week kicks off on Monday, June 23, with a mayoral proclamation for the week to be read along the Greenway near Powers Field at noon. That evening, the Cheyenne Slow Roll group will host a family-friendly bike ride leaving from Civic Commons Park at 6 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 25, the City will observe Bike to Work Day, an annual event that celebrates active ways of getting to work and around town. Participants don’t need to be traveling specifically to work to take part.
Local businesses and organizations are hosting seven free breakfast stations for cyclists in Cheyenne: Blue FCU’s 7th Avenue branch, Paris West, Omelet House, Western Vista FCU & Ranch Eats, Paramount Café, the Laramie County Library, and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center & Meridian Trust FCU.
Most breakfast stations will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and additional details about each location are available at www.cheyennecity.org/BTWD.
Wednesday evening, Freedom’s Edge Brewing will host an after-work event together with Ace’s Range on Pioneer Avenue from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Cheyenne Slow Roll group will begin and end their regular Wednesday ride from the after-work event beginning at 6 p.m.
Thursday, June 26 – Kids’ Bike Rodeo
