Cheyenne Fire Rescue has launched a new website for the department, complete with easy ways for residents to engage with CFR.

The website, http://cheyennefire.org, features contact forms to request non-emergency services from CFR, including building inspections, fire station visits, community outreach opportunities, car seat inspections, and much more.

“Our new home on the web will help us better connect with the community we serve,” Deputy Chief Andrew Dykshorn said. “We’re here to keep Cheyenne safe, and we encourage residents and businesses to partner with us to promote public safety.”

The new website does feature three new fire stations that will open in the coming months but are not yet operational. Residents are reminded that assistance can’t be provided at those stations until they’re open.

The stations are being built using 2021 6th Penny funds. They are located on Converse Avenue near Dell Range Boulevard, on Old Trail Road just south of Nationway, and on Countryside Avenue just west of Whitney Road.

The ribbon cutting for the new Station 5 on Converse Avenue is set for March 21 and openings for the other two stations will follow.
