In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.

**Update 11/27 - Repairs have been completed and the Aquatic Center has reopened. The original news release is below.
The City of Cheyenne Aquatic Center will be closed until further notice due to hot water system repairs.
A power surge on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, damaged the control panel for the facility’s domestic hot water system, which is required for the facility to be open. Repairs are expected to be completed this week.
