The Airport Golf Club and Prairie View Golf Course will be closed through the weekend and into next week as staff clears trees and removes debris from both courses.The Airport Golf Club's lounge and dining room remain open.

Cheyenne Fire Rescue responded to a commercial fire in the 800 block of East Lincolnway early Monday morning.
Around 2:15 a.m. Monday, the Cheyenne Police Department found smoke and a fire coming from Superior Glass and Mirror, 821 E. Lincolnway, and called for CFR response. CFR discovered a fire in the back part of the building and forced access to the back shop.
CFR extinguished a vehicle that was on fire parked inside the building as well as other building contents to which the fire had spread. Twenty-three CFR personnel were part of the response, with assistance from CPD, AMR, and Black Hills Energy. East Lincolnway was briefly closed for fire hydrant usage.
No occupants were inside the building when the fire occurred, but CFR rescued two cats in the building. One cat did not survive due to smoke exposure. The cause of the fire is under investigation and damages are currently estimated at $250,000.
