In observance of America 250, July 4 celebrations are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 4, 2026.Fireworks will be held at the Wyoming State Capitol this year. There will not be fireworks at Frontier Park.

CHEYENNE – Beginning Monday, June 14th at 7:00 a.m., asphalt repair work will take place on E. 5th St. between Maxwell Ave. and Seymour Ave.
The City’s Street & Alley Division will be replacing asphalt at this location. The road will be closed to all traffic and detours will be in place. Crews anticipate work will be completed by 5:00 p.m. on June 14th, barring any weather and equipment issues.
