The Building Department has launched their online license & permit portal.Scroll down to LICNESES & PERMITS to set up an online account and apply for licensing and permits with the Building Department.
City offices including Transit will be closed on Friday, June 19th for the Juneteenth holiday. There will be no changes to residential, trash, recycle or yard waste pickups this week. There will also be no changes to commercial pickups on Friday, June 19, but pickups scheduled for Saturday, June 20, will be collected on Friday. See link below for City office closure information.

The Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority (DDA) regular board meeting and Fiscal Year 2027 budget hearing originally scheduled for April 16, 2026, have been rescheduled due to a lack of a quorum.
The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 23, at 10 a.m. at Cheyenne City Council Chambers, 2101 O’Neil Ave.
