The Transit main office located at 322 W Lincolnway will be closed the remainder of today, Thursday October 8, 2026 and possibly Friday October 9, 2026 for roof work at the Spiker garage. Dispatch lines will remain open for normal operating hours. If you need assistance please go to the office on the 17th St and Carey Ave side and knock on the door.
Due to the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, Oct. 12, the City of Cheyenne Sanitation Division will have a modified trash, recycling, and yard waste pick-up schedule for that week. Pick-ups will slide forward one day.Non-Sanitation City offices will remain open on Columbus Day. Please use the provided link to see the Sanitation department closures for the week of October 12th.

Cheyenne’s America 250 committee is inviting local organizations to submit entries for the America 250 parade in downtown Cheyenne on July 4, 2026.
Entries must follow the America 250 theme of “Honoring Our Past, Celebrating our Future” and applications are due by May 31, 2026.
