Applications open for 2025 CDBG funding cycle

The Cheyenne Housing and Community Development (H&CD) Office has launched its Program Year 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding cycle. H&CD Office staff are available to provide technical assistance to potential applicants interested in preparing a CDBG grant application.

Key Dates and Requirements

  • Letters of Intent to apply for the grant are mandatory and due by Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
  • Submit Letters of Intent via email to Amy Gorbey, H&CD Community Development Manager, at agorbey@cheyennecity.org.
  • For questions about the Letter of Intent, project eligibility, or technical assistance, email agorbey@cheyennecity.org or call the H&CD Division at (307) 637-6255.

Public Hearing

The City of Cheyenne will hold a public hearing on the potential allocation of HUD Community Development Block Grant Funds for Program Year 2025.

  • Location: Room 104, City of Cheyenne Municipal Building, 2102 O'Neil Ave, Cheyenne, WY

During this meeting, the H&CD Advisory Council will determine which applicants who submitted Letters of Intent will be invited to apply for CDBG Program Year 2025 funds.

Cheyenne residents are encouraged to attend the public hearing to:

  • Learn about submitted grant proposals
  • Provide comments on the proposals
  • Gain insight into the CDBG process
