The City of Cheyenne is seeking applications to fill one vacancy on the Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2026.
The Mayor's Council for People with Disabilities serves as an advisory board to the Mayor's Office, the Governing Body, and Cheyenne City staff on the problems and concerns of persons with a disability as they relate to activities of daily living, including accessibility, recreation, commerce, employment, transportation and self-advocacy. The MCPD meets monthly.

Interested residents can obtain applications for the board at www.cheyennecity.org/boards. Applications are due Friday, Sept. 4, at 5 p.m. Preference will be given to applicants interested in serving as the council’s secretary, which includes maintaining minutes of meetings.
