Have a question about animal control? Want to know what domestic animal rules are in place in the city versus the county? Do you have a specific case to talk to an officer about?

The Cheyenne and Laramie County Animal Control Division will host a question and answer session on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Laramie County Library’s Willow Room.

Officers will be on hand to talk to local residents about local laws and rules and can discuss animal control-related issues and community concerns.

Cheyenne and Laramie County Animal Control is housed under the City’s Compliance Department and serves both the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County. Animal Control works closely with the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, though the two agencies are separate entities.
