Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of May 25th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The City of Cheyenne’s Building Safety Division will hold an open house on Thursday, May 28, for residents and contractors to learn about the 2026 National Electrical Code.
The City of Cheyenne cemetery complex is managed and maintained jointly by the City Clerk and Community Recreation & Events Departments. All cemeteries are actively operating. The cemetery grounds are open seven days a week for the convenience of those wishing to visit. Office hours are Monday through Friday, except for recognized city holidays from 8:00 am - 10:00 am at 2501 Seymour Ave.; Office hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at City Clerk's Office located at 2101 O'Neil Ave., Room 101. Funeral services may be scheduled Monday through Friday, as well as on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
