Applications will be provided to the top 75 candidates who have achieved a passing score of 78% on the National Testing Network Exam.
Test Completion Date
National Testing Network Exam must be completed by April 18, 2021
Candidates must be at least 18 years old on the date of examination. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States of America. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent. A valid Driver's License is required.
Applicants must have the ability to read/speak English. Correctable vision of 20/20 or better required. Applicants must successfully complete the fire academy after they are hired.
A CURRENT VALID CPAT CARD IS NOT REQUIRED TO TEST. HOWEVER, A VALID CURRENT CPAT CARD IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION TO THE CITY OF CHEYENNE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The nearest CPAT testing site to Cheyenne, Wyoming, is AIMS Community College in Greeley, Colorado. Other CPAT testing sites can be found using an internet search, keyword CPAT.
Candidates who receive an application must include a non-refundable fee of $50.00, check or money order made payable to the City of Cheyenne with their application.
