Residential trash and recycling pickups will slide forward one day during the week of May 25th (Monday pickups move to Tuesday, Tuesday pickups move to Wednesday, Wednesday pickups move to Thursday, Thursday pickups move to Friday). The City of Cheyenne’s Building Safety Division will hold an open house next week for residents and contractors to learn about the 2026 National Electrical Code.
The new NEC is in the process of being adopted by the City and will ultimately move through the City Council process before becoming effective.
The open house will be Thursday, May 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 2101 O’Neil Ave. City staff will be available to discuss the code and answer questions.
