Property owners, businesses and visitors to downtown Cheyenne are invited to provide feedback on a recent pilot project that striped parallel and diagonal parking spaces in several Downtown blocks.

The City’s striping project was in response to community input. Striping of parking spaces, in particular parallel spaces, is intended to increase visibility of spaces and maximize available spaces.

Striped parking spaces were implemented in a four-block area from Lincolnway to 18th Street and Carey Avenue to Central Avenue, as well as 17th Street from Central to Warren.

With striping in place for several weeks, the City is asking property owners, businesses and visitors for feedback about the striped spaces and if additional spaces should be striped throughout the Downtown area.

The survey is available on the Connect Cheyenne website and directly at www.cheyennecity.org/stripingsurvey. The survey will be open until Friday, December 12, 2025.
