City Announces Trash and Recycle Schedule for Thanksgiving Holiday

CHEYENNE – The City of Cheyenne has announced their trash and recycle pick-up schedule for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 26th.

Scheduled trash and recycle pick-up that day will instead take place on Saturday, November 28th. Please have your trash and recycle containers out by 6:00 a.m.

The Solid Waste Transfer Station Office and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Dr.) will be closed on Wednesday, November 25th and Thursday, November 26th due to the holiday but will reopen on Friday November 27th. The Solid Waste Transfer Station will remain open for dumping on Wednesday, November 25th.

The Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Rd.) will be closed on Wednesday, November 25th and Thursday, November 26th due to the holiday and reopen on Friday, November 27th.

Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.) will be closed on Thursday, November 26th due to the holiday and reopen on Friday, November 27th.
