City Announces Trash and Recycle Schedule for Thanksgiving Holiday

CHEYENNE – The City of Cheyenne has announced their trash and recycle pick-up schedule for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 26^th.

Scheduled trash and recycle pick-up that day will instead take place on Saturday, November 28^th. Please have your trash and recycle containers out by 6:00 a.m.

The Solid Waste Transfer Station Office and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N. College Dr.) will be closed on Wednesday, November 25^th and Thursday, November 26^th due to the holiday but will reopen on Friday November 27^th. The Solid Waste Transfer Station will remain open for dumping on Wednesday, November 25^th.

The Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Rd.) will be closed on Wednesday, November 25^th and Thursday, November 26^th due to the holiday and reopen on Friday, November 27^th.

Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.) will be closed on Thursday, November 26^th due to the holiday and reopen on Friday, November 27^th.
