The City of Cheyenne will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Office, Room 309, Municipal Building, 2101 O'Neil Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001, until 2:00 p.m. local time on January 3, 2023 for the “17th Street Lighting Improvements Phase II” project.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 PM on December 8, 2022, in Room 208 of the Municipal Building at 2101 O’Neil Ave, Cheyenne, WY. The City will REJECT BIDS from any company who has not signed the attendance sheet prior to the commencement of the Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting.
Bid guarantee in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany any bid submitted. The 5% bid guarantee may be in the form a bid bond secured and issued by a surety or guaranty company authorized to do business in the State of Wyoming or a cashier’s check made payable to the City of Cheyenne.
The successful bidder shall furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. A surety bond is required for contracts over $150,000.00.
Provisions of Wyoming Statute 15-1-113 are, by reference, made an express part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding.
