The soft surface trails cater to mountain bikers, trail runners and dog walkers. Funding for this project came from a $35,000 RTP grant and $5,000 each from community partners Paul Frauendienst, Dan Gregg and Larry Sutherland. To protect this investment, Parks & Recreation invested an additional $10K to erect a post and cable fence around much of the park. A special feature of the trail system is four drop lines where mountain bikers can practice and develop their skills. Download the NCCP Trail Map.
